Proudly serving the motorcoach & group travel industry since 1971
Enjoy shopping, dining, and overnight accommodations all in one location. We are pleased to offer group-friendly pricing and convenient packages.
Das Dutchman Essenhaus was founded on January 4, 1971 by Bob and Sue Miller of Sugarcreek, Ohio. Rich in Christian values, Bob and Sue transformed the former 24-hour truck stop, Everett’s Highway Inn, to a smoke-free, 120-seat diner, closed on Sundays in an effort to give their employees a day of rest, time for worship, and family fellowship. Today, Bob and Sue’s children maintain the daily operations of the now world-renowned, largest family restaurant in Indiana.
